
Pineapple Cake
Ingredients:
9 eggs
3 cups of flour
2 cups of sugar
i large tin of pineaaple rings
2 tsp baking powder
cherries for decoration(optional)
Preparation:
You will need a large cake tin for this one. Grease the tin with margarine and then add 1/2 cup of sugar and swirl it around the tin so it will stick to the coating of margarine. Decorate the tin by sticking the pineapple rings to the coating and you may add cherries between the rings.
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until creamy, then add the juice of the pineapple tin and beat to blend into the batter. Add the flour and baking powder and lastly the whisked egg whites.
Place in cake tin and bake at 180 C for about an hour.
